The second day of the Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) second annual scientific conference included discussing the participating scientific researches, then prizes have been distributed to the participants. In order to entirely shed light upon the activities of the conference on its second day; the head of the media department of the Imam Hussein holy shrine Mr. Ali Soltan said, "the second day of the Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) second annual scientific conference has been sat, and one of its best activities was discussing more than thirty scientific researches that dealt with the story of Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) and its various dimensions, then the conference brought forward some recommendations on its conclusion session". On the other hand, the Imam Hussein and EL-Abbas holy shrines held a fair for the intellectual issues issued by the two holy shrines. Mr. Saeed Rasheed Zmeazim, the head of the authentication section said, "the fair included many stands for the periodicals and books issued by the Imam Hussein and EL-Abbas holy shrines, those periodicals documented the projects achieved by the two holy shrines; in addition to the that narrate about the aims of the Husseinian revolution and manifest the oppressive situation that Imam Hussein went through. It also included a collection of pictures and posters and some rare artistic masterpieces". The president of the Basrah University Dr. Thamir Ahmed EL-Hamdany expressed his admiration in the fair saying, "The fair wondrously represents something special and intellectual for being distinctive with variety rather than the sense of holiness it has, and it also reflects a great care for improving the self of the human".
