In these blessed days, the holy city of Al-Kadhimiya is filled with visitors from across the Islamic and Arabic world, seeking to draw faith and certainty from the spiritual presence of the two Imams Al-Kadhim and Al-Jawad (peace be upon them) and to commemorate the Arbaeen of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). The servants of the Holy Shrine Unit have been honored with the great privilege of providing the highest levels of service to the esteemed visitors.
With pride and dedication, they serve the pilgrims of the two Imams (peace be upon them) by organizing the flow of entry and exit to and from the holy shrine, opening pathways for visitors, and ensuring smooth movement to prevent congestion during peak hours. Their work also includes preparing and furnishing the shrine and its courtyards, perfuming the premises, and creating an atmosphere conducive to performing acts of worship. Special services are also offered for the elderly and people with disabilities, including designated pathways for performing the visitation rituals.
The unit has also contributed to organizing congregational prayers at Al-Jawadain Mosque (peace be upon them), as well as in the halls of Sayyid Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib and Lady Amina (peace be upon them). Through these efforts, the servants of the Al-Kadhimiya Holy Shrine place sincerity and dedication at the forefront of their mission, fulfilling their duties with commitment to ensure the success of the comprehensive service plan prepared for this year’s Arbaeen season.
