The Youth Development and Social Rehabilitation Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through the Al-Warith Center for Creativity and Talent Development, has launched its summer program for children and youth, aimed at making productive use of the summer holiday by developing participants’ scientific and intellectual abilities and refining their personal skills.
In a statement obtained by the official website, the department said that "the Youth Development and Social Rehabilitation Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through the Al-Warith Center for Creativity and Talent Development, has launched its summer program for children and youth aged (6–14) years, with the aim of utilizing the summer vacation to develop scientific and intellectual capabilities and enhance participants’ personal skills."
The statement explained that "the program includes a diverse range of educational and developmental courses and workshops, most notably mental arithmetic (Soroban) courses, computer and technology fundamentals, English and Persian language lessons, as well as religious and developmental workshops and educational intellectual games that contribute to fostering creativity and developing critical thinking among children and youth."
It added that "the program will continue for two months, three days per week, and will be supervised by a select group of specialized trainers, including engineers, as part of an integrated plan aimed at developing participants’ cognitive and intellectual skills and building their personalities on sound scientific and educational foundations."
The program comes as part of a series of initiatives implemented by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to support emerging talents and provide an educational and developmental environment that contributes to preparing an aware and creative generation capable of meeting future challenges.
