Imam Hussain Shrine Hosts Scientific Forum for Soroban Students

The Youth Development and Social Rehabilitation Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through the Al-Warith Center for Creativity and Talent Development, organized a scientific forum for students participating in the first Soroban mental arithmetic course, as part of its ongoing efforts to support students and enhance their cognitive abilities.

Department Head Ali Zaki Al-Tamimi told the official website that the forum was designed to provide feedback and host an interactive scientific competition among students using Soroban mental calculation techniques, with the aim of assessing their skills and fostering positive competition and intellectual creativity.

He added that, at the end of the event, the center’s staff honored outstanding and participating students in recognition of their efforts and dedication. The department also reaffirmed its commitment to continuing development programs that aim to build an aware and creative generation equipped with strong mental abilities and logical, fast analytical thinking.

The program is implemented by the Training and Program Development Division at the Al-Warith Center for Creativity and Talent Development, affiliated with the Youth Development and Social Rehabilitation Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.
