Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Concludes “Choose Your Path” Program for Students

The Youth Social Development and Rehabilitation Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has concluded the activities of the third edition of the “Choose Your Path” program, which was held in cooperation with the Karbala Directorate of Education and hosted by Warith Al-Anbiya University, with the participation of a select group of outstanding school students from the governorate.

The head of the department, Professor Ali Zaki Al-Tamimi, said in a statement to the official website that “the Youth Social Development and Rehabilitation Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine concluded the activities of the third edition of the ‘Choose Your Path’ program, which was organized in cooperation with the Karbala Directorate of Education and hosted by Warith Al-Anbiya University, with the participation of a distinguished group of school students from the governorate.”

He explained that “the closing event included a developmental seminar titled ‘The Importance of Choosing the Right Academic Path,’ which focused on helping students select their university majors in alignment with their abilities, interests, and labor market demands.”

He added that “the activities also featured academic tours within the university campus to introduce students to the colleges, departments, and laboratories, in addition to scientific and cultural competitions among participants. The program concluded with honoring the cooperating entities and participating staff in recognition of their efforts in ensuring its success.”

The “Choose Your Path” program is part of the department’s initiatives aimed at raising students’ awareness and guiding them toward making informed academic decisions that contribute to building their educational and professional future.
