The Youth Social Development and Rehabilitation Department, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the opening of registration for the (Soroban) mental arithmetic program during the summer holiday. The program will be held at the Al-Warith Center for Creativity and Talent Development, aiming to enhance the mental and psychological abilities of children and students.
Head of the department, Mr. Ali Zaki Al-Tamimi, said in a statement to the official website that “the Youth Social Development and Rehabilitation Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announces the opening of registration for the (Soroban) mental arithmetic program during the summer holiday, which will be held at the Al-Warith Center for Creativity and Talent Development, with the aim of developing the mental and psychological abilities of children and students.”
He added that “the program is considered one of the most important educational tracks contributing to the development of thinking and analytical skills, as it focuses on building advanced cognitive abilities that help participants achieve better academic performance and enhance self-confidence, through modern training methods and advanced motivational programs.”
He explained that “the program targets the age group (6–15) years, with training curricula designed to suit different levels, under the supervision of specialized staff in the field of mental skills development.”
He called on “parents to take the initiative in registering their children by visiting the center building located in the Employees District behind Al-Taf Club and completing the registration form.”
The Youth Social Development and Rehabilitation Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues its efforts to support young talents and develop their intellectual and practical abilities through specialized training programs that strengthen their self-confidence and support their educational journey, contributing to building a conscious and creative generation that serves its country.
