Al-Warith Center for Food and Water Safety obtains ISO 9001 certification

The Al-Warith Center for Food and Water Safety, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced that it has received the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification after successfully completing all audit and evaluation stages.

Ali Badr Najm, Director of the Center, told the official website that “the Al-Warith Center for Food and Water Safety, part of the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification as part of its ongoing development efforts.” He clarified that “the certification was granted after passing all auditing and assessment procedures conducted by the issuing body.”

He explained that “this achievement reaffirms the center’s commitment to delivering the highest levels of operational quality, strengthening the culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring accurate and reliable laboratory services that enhance the food and water safety system of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and serve the wider community.”

He added that “this accreditation marks an important step in reinforcing confidence in the center’s services, supporting its plans for scientific and research expansion, and implementing international best practices in quality management.”

Najm emphasized that “this accomplishment provides strong motivation to continue working with a high sense of responsibility and professionalism.”

This achievement reflects the Al-Warith Center’s dedication to complying with global quality standards, improving the work environment, and applying continuous improvement methods in line with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s vision of building strong service institutions that offer precise and trustworthy services, contributing to public health protection and raising awareness on food and water safety.
