Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's Department of Engineering and Technical Projects continues its expansion construction work by establishing Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba courtyard, the 2nd after Al-Aqila Zainab.
According to Hussain Redha Mahdi, head of the department, this courtyard is considered the second part of the expansion and one of the most significant expansions after Al-Aqila Zainab (PBUH).
He added that " the aim of establishing the courtyard is to provide an area of (100,000m2) dedicated to serving the pilgrims, and performing ritual ceremonies in addition to servicing and cultural places.
It is stated that Imam Hussain Shrine dedicates all these projects to accommodate the massive Arbaeen millions of pilgrims and provide all the services they need
