In commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali El-Hadi (Peace Be Upon Him), Imam Hussein Holy Shrine witnessed a great number of mourners flocking into Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, carrying a symbolic coffin, expressing their sorrow and heartfelt feelings over the Imam’s tragedy.
Imam El-Hadi is the tenth of the twelve Imams of Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them). He was poisoned by the Abbasid ruler El-Mu’temed in 254 A.H.
The mourners were from Iraq and other countries who gathered together at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine where they listened to a lecture delivered on Imam El-Hadi (Peace Be Upon Him).
