El-Kerbala

Apr 3, 2015. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i mentioned two important issues:

First:

The Supreme Religious Authority commends and honors the achieved victories of the military forces especially the freeing of Tikrit from the hands of the terrorist group ISIS.

This incident is clear evidence that the brave and courageous Iraqi fighters are independently capable of freeing Iraq from any terrorist or extremist attack.

Moreover, we reemphasize the need for advanced military strategic development, and weaponry support from the Iraqi government and the Military Defense Department to continue achieving such victories.

We ask from Allah to bless the martyrs and the wounded soldiers who dedicated their lives for the sake of their homeland and fellow citizens.

Second:

With this being said, a few points are presented:

The brave volunteers, Iraqi Armed Forces, and Military Forces must first increase their trust in Allah the All Mighty and second is to stand side by side and develop serious military procedures to overcome terrorism. In addition, there are various regional and international political parties that benefit from the war against ISIS as well as providing them with support which increases the complexities of the war. For this reason, it is the responsibility of every Iraqi citizen, government officials, and tribe leaders to unite and take action to end the war for the benefit of the country. The government and the Iraqi fighters must protect the properties of the liberalized cities and disallow any individual who seeks to overtake or dismantle those properties. On the other hand, the Iraqi government must provide the deserved financial support for the brave volunteers and their family members. Various provincial and local governments as well as a few civil organizations began developing plans such as housing and financial support for the families of the martyrs and for the displaced citizens. This is a significant step towards advancing the life style of the country. Hence, the local governments must continue this initiative and hasten the process of such establishments.
