A delegation from the Religious Preaching Division, affiliated with the Religious Affairs Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, visited the Nasiriyah Correctional Facility to discuss ways to cooperate in supporting the reform process, listen to the needs and concerns of several inmates, and encourage them to pursue education and rehabilitation.
Sheikh Karim Al-Jaifari, head of the division, stated to the official website that a delegation from the Religious Preaching Division visited the Nasiriyah Correctional Facility and met with its administration to examine mechanisms of cooperation and provide essential supplies to support awareness and reformative programs within the prison.
He added that the visit involved listening to the needs and problems of a number of inmates, thereby contributing to strengthening efforts aimed at supporting them and inspiring them to continue their journey of learning and reform.
Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to back Quranic and awareness programs within correctional institutions, driven by the significance of these initiatives in fostering awareness and assisting in the rehabilitation of inmates.
