Warith International Cancer Institution, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the launch of health insurance services for beneficiaries across four Iraqi governorates, aiming to deliver healthcare, diagnostic, and therapeutic services across diverse medical specialties.
In a statement obtained by the Official Site, the foundation stated that "Warith International Cancer Institution launched health insurance services to encompass the governorates of Holy Karbala, Najaf Al-Ashraf, Basra, and Baghdad, providing health and therapeutic facilities for patients covered by the service."
The press release added that "the rollout of these services aims to ensure integrated medical, diagnostic, and therapeutic care under the supervision of specialized medical teams and staff, contributing to elevating the standard of healthcare services offered to health insurance policyholders."
It further noted that "during the past year, the hospital provided its services to over 1,000 patients from Baghdad Governorate within its approved medical care pathways."
The rollout of health insurance services comes as part of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's ongoing endeavors to support the healthcare sector through its medical institutions. It aims to deliver advanced therapeutic and diagnostic services to citizens, leveraging modern medical equipment and technologies under the guidance of Iraqi personnel and specialized medical experts across various fields.
