The Department of Strategic Projects at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is continuing construction work on the Warith Guest House project, which stands as one of the major service projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and expanding services provided to Karbala residents and visitors.
The department stated in a press release obtained by the official website that "the Department of Strategic Projects at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to execute construction works on the Warith Guest House project, considered one of the major service projects aimed at boosting infrastructure and developing services provided to the people of Karbala and visitors."
It explained that "the land area allocated for the project covers 7,800 square meters, while the building consists of a basement, a ground floor, and 17 floors, forming an integrated service structure that meets the needs of various segments of society and arrivals to the holy city."
It added that "the project includes a range of vital facilities, including a multipurpose theater, dining halls, administrative and residential rooms, as well as large and small meeting halls and a parking lot, providing a comprehensive service environment that aligns with the nature of activities and events hosted by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine."
It further noted that "the architectural, structural, and electromechanical designs for the project were prepared according to the latest international specifications, ensuring the provision of advanced and integrated infrastructure that contributes to raising the level of services and keeping pace with modern construction and operational standards."
The Warith Guest House project comes as part of a package of strategic projects implemented by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in the city of Karbala, aiming to support the service and urban sectors while offering modern facilities that serve citizens and visitors alike.
