Over 37,000 Medical Services and Diagnostic Tests: Sayyida Khadija Al-Kubra Hospital Announces Arbaeen Results

Sayyida Khadija Al-Kubra (peace be upon her) Specialized Hospital for Women, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the total tally of its medical and health services provided as part of its specialized plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).

In a statement obtained by the Official Website, the hospital stated: "Sayyida Khadija Al-Kubra (peace be upon her) Specialized Hospital for Women continued delivering round-the-clock medical and nursing services—totaling more than 37,000 medical services and diagnostic tests—to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) throughout the days of the blessed visit."

It explained that "the hospital received 2,678 patients who were provided with various medical and nursing services across its departments, while the emergency ward welcomed 444 visitors whose examinations revealed health conditions requiring urgent medical measures to ensure their safety."

It added that "the number of visitors to the medical detachment reached 25,223, receiving various medical and nursing services as part of the health procedures adopted by the hospital to meet the needs of pilgrims during the days of Arbaeen."

It noted that "regarding diagnostic testing, 7,482 laboratory tests were performed, in addition to conducting 1,277 radiological examinations among the medical and diagnostic services provided to visitors throughout the pilgrimage."

These figures reflect the magnitude of the extensive efforts made by the medical, nursing, health, and administrative personnel, alongside volunteers, aligning with the vision of the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to provide and deliver the highest quality health and medical services to the visitors of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
