Imam Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him) Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the total medical services rendered as part of its operational plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
The head of media, Mustafa Al-Mousawi, stated in an interview with the official website that Imam Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him) Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, disclosed the tally of healthcare services offered under its specialized strategy for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
He clarified that the hospital received 5,300 patients during the Arbaeen visit, divided between 3,170 visitors at the medical detachment and 2,130 visitors in the emergency department, as part of an integrated health plan designed to accommodate the large numbers of pilgrims.
He added that the medical and nursing staff conducted 6,150 laboratory tests, along with 1,312 X-ray examinations, contributing to swifter diagnostic procedures and providing necessary medical care to visitors.
He continued stating that the hospital performed 14 surgical operations, as well as 6 cardiac catheterization procedures, within the framework of delivering specialized medical interventions for conditions requiring immediate treatment.
These statistics reflect the high state of readiness among the medical and health personnel, as well as the mobilization of all human and technical capabilities to serve patients and visitors of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), in accordance with the directives of the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine aimed at delivering the finest healthcare services throughout the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
