Lady Zainab Eye Center Serves 24,000 Patients in First Half of Year

Lady Zainab Al-Kubra Eye Center, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the scope of the medical services it provided during the first half of the current year as part of its ongoing efforts to deliver the highest standards of healthcare and treatment under the supervision of specialized medical staff.

In a statement obtained by the official website, the center said, "Lady Zainab Al-Kubra Eye Center, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, provided high-quality medical services during the first half of the current year as part of its continuous efforts to offer the best healthcare and treatment for patients, in accordance with the latest medical standards and under the supervision of specialized medical staff," noting that "the center received (24,331) patients from various Iraqi provinces."

The statement explained that "during this period, the center performed (9,988) surgical operations, (6,504) retinal injection procedures, and (37,858) eye examinations, while the number of laboratory tests reached (30,068)."

The medical, healthcare, and administrative teams continued their efforts to provide comprehensive healthcare in line with the highest quality standards, contributing to outstanding results during the first six months of the current year.

The statement affirmed that "these figures reflect the continuous development of the medical services provided by the center through the use of the latest medical equipment and technologies, while enhancing the quality of healthcare to ensure the delivery of outstanding specialized treatment services to patients from the Holy Karbala Governorate and various Iraqi provinces."

These efforts are in line with the mission of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and the directives of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, to provide high-quality specialized medical care and distinguished humanitarian services.
