The Secretary-General of the Quran Reciters Syndicate of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sheikh Abdel Fattah Al-Tarouti, stated that the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s support for Quran memorization programs and campaigns represents a noble mission with a global impact, contributing to the spread of the light of the Holy Quran across the world. His remarks came during his participation in the International Quranic Week organized by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine with the participation of (30) countries.
Speaking to the official website, Al-Tarouti said, "When the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine supports the Quran campaign and its memorizers, it contributes to the emergence of the light of the Quran, carrying the fragrance of the Ahl al-Bayt of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), spreading throughout all parts of the world. This is a great message that everyone should recognize."
He added that "this role reflects a high level of care for the Book of Allah Almighty and service to those who carry it," noting that "it represents an act of immense greatness and reverence for the Noble Book of Allah and embodies the meanings of love for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and his pure Ahl al-Bayt."
The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine places significant emphasis on the Holy Quran and its sciences through the sponsorship and support of various Quranic projects aimed at Quran memorizers and reciters in Iraq and across the Islamic world. These efforts include organizing Quranic gatherings, launching specialized courses, supporting international competitions, and hosting Quranic delegations from various countries.
