Second Iran Relief Convoy with 24 Trucks and 23 Ambulances

In response to the call of the supreme religious authority, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the launch of the second relief convoy to support the Iranian people, confirming that the convoy consists of (24) trucks loaded with medical supplies and humanitarian aid, in addition to (23) ambulances.

A member of the Shrine’s relief committee, Sabah Al-Mousawi, told the official website that “in implementation and compliance with the directives of the supreme religious authority, as well as the guidance of its representative Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai and the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, the second relief convoy to support the Iranian people has been dispatched.”

He added that “the convoy includes (24) trucks carrying essential materials, medical supplies, and various relief items to meet the needs of affected families,” noting that “the convoy also includes (23) ambulances equipped with the latest medical equipment.”

He pointed out that “the Shrine will continue to send relief convoys successively as part of a comprehensive humanitarian campaign aimed at alleviating the suffering of those affected,” emphasizing that “all relevant departments within the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine are working at a high pace to secure essential needs.”

This comes in response to the call of the supreme religious authority to stand alongside affected populations and provide urgent humanitarian support. The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has launched a broad relief campaign, mobilizing its logistical and human resources to deliver aid to those in need, reaffirming its humanitarian role in addressing crises and easing the suffering of affected communities.
