Medical Physics Students Receive Practical Training at Imam Zain Al-Abidin Hospital

The College of Science at Warith Al-Anbiya University, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has launched a field training program for third-year students in the Medical Physics Department at Imam Zain Al-Abidin Hospital. The initiative aims to strengthen practical training alongside the academic knowledge students receive in classrooms.

Hussein Hamed Al-Mousawi, Director of Media and Government Communication at the university, said in remarks to the (official website) that “the College of Science at Warith Al-Anbiya University, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has launched a field training program for third-year students in the Medical Physics Department at Imam Zain Al-Abidin Hospital.”

He explained that “the training program is part of the university’s vision to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications and to provide students with the opportunity to directly observe modern medical technologies used in healthcare institutions affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.”

He added that “the program includes hands-on training in several advanced medical diagnostic technologies, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), X-Ray systems, and Computed Tomography (CT Scan), under the supervision of specialized academic and technical staff.”

He noted that “this training aims to develop students’ practical skills and enhance their field experience, contributing to the preparation of qualified professionals in medical physics capable of keeping pace with the rapid technological developments in the healthcare sector.”

Warith Al-Anbiya University continues to expand practical training programs for its students in cooperation with healthcare and educational institutions affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, helping strengthen educational outcomes and preparing students to enter the labor market with efficiency.
