With profound sorrow, I extend my condolences to the noble Iranian people and to Muslims everywhere on the martyrdom of the esteemed leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Khamenei (may Allah be pleased with him).
His Eminence’s distinguished position and his unique role in leading the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran over many years are evident to all. There is no doubt that the enemies, by targeting him for martyrdom and launching a broad military aggression against Iran, sought to inflict severe harm on this dear country. It is expected of the great Iranian people to preserve their unity, close their ranks, and not allow the aggressors to achieve their malicious objectives.
I ask Almighty Allah to grant the blessed departed elevated ranks and divine pleasure, and to bestow patience and abundant reward upon all those grieving his loss.
There is no power and no might except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
