With the participation of the media and cultural division of the Imam Hussein Center in Istanbul, devotees of Ahl al-Bayt commemorated the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali, peace be upon him, in an atmosphere of joy and celebration, attended by a large gathering of families loyal to Ahl al-Bayt, in Turkey.
The ceremony was hosted by Sheikh Mikail Gurel, a member of the Ahl al-Bayt Foundation in Turkey, who began by reciting verses from the Holy Quran, followed by religious chants performed on the occasion of this blessed anniversary. Sayyid Mohammed Al-Mousawi then delivered a speech highlighting the virtues of the Commander of the Faithful and underscoring the obligations of believers to adhere to the principles and teachings of the infallible Imams, as well as to commemorate their special occasions so that they may serve as role models illuminating the path for Muslims.
At the conclusion of the event, a religious competition was held in connection with the occasion, and prizes and gifts, blessed from the holy city of Karbala, were distributed to the winners.
