Thaqalayn Vocational Training Center Joins Second “Riada” Expo in Baghdad

The Thaqalayn Center for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training, one of the institutions under the Technical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, took part in the second “Riada” Conference and Exhibition held at the Baghdad International Fair. The event featured participation from a number of educational and training institutions, as well as several young entrepreneurs and emerging startup projects.

In a statement to the official website, the center’s representative and Riada program trainer, Ali Hamid Al-Qar’awi, said, “Our participation reaffirms the role of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in supporting young talents and developing their professional skills through specialized training programs offered by the Thaqalayn Center across various fields to prepare youth for the labor market.”

He added that the exhibition showcased projects by a group of trainees who successfully launched their own businesses, a testament to the determination and creativity of Iraqi youth.

The participation of the Thaqalayn Center in this event aligns with the vision of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to empower young people, enhance their practical skills, and open new horizons in innovation and entrepreneurship. This effort contributes to building a productive, qualified generation that serves society and supports sustainable development.
