According to the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority's directives at the Shrine Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, the Shrine's relief convoy in Syria continues to distribute food baskets to the affected families in Lattakia Governorate.
Hamza Al-Naqeeb, the head of the Shrine's canteen Dep said in an interview, "under Sheikh al-Karbalaei's guidance, our cadres are distributing thousands of food baskets to the earthquake's affected families."
He noted that "the basket contains (11) foodstuffs, such as rice, sugar, oil, tea, various types of legumes and others."
It is stated that the Shrine's portable canteen in Syria distributes over (45,000) thousand meals per day, in addition to (100,000) pieces of bread, to the families who were displaced from the areas that were exposed to the earthquake a few days ago.
