Imam Hussain Shrine announced spending over (250M IQD) on Medical cases in September 2022

Under the guidance of the representative of the supreme religious reference, of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, the shrine announced spending over (250) million IQD to treat hundreds of humanitarian cases from various Iraqi governorates during September 2022.

In an interview with the official website, Ahmed Reda Al-Khafaji, the General Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs at the Shrine said, "we received a lot of humanitarian cases inside the Shrine and through the Social Media platforms.

Noting that "the (250) million IQD included treating hundreds of patients, by performing major and super-major surgeries, in hospitals affiliated with the Shrine, such as Al-Warth International Foundation for Cancerous Tumors, and Imam Zain al-Abidin Specialized Hospital.

It is stated that the Shrine has spent over (1.5 billion) IQD in recent months to treat the poor people (for free).
