Deaf-mute people participate in Arba'een pilgrimage

Approximately 100 deaf-mute people as a volunteer group have participated in serving the Arba’een pilgrims in the holy city of Kerbela this year. Their only means of communication is body language; they work silently, offering pilgrims food, water, and other services.

Rezzaq Ewwad Ez-Zeyadi, translator and member of the group, said that the group has been offering services to pilgrims for more than 10 years, and pilgrims feel comfortable with them.
