15000 meters of red carpet were spread inside Imam Hussein Shrine, El-Abbas Shrine, and in the area between the two shrines, as part of the preparations for the Day of Ashura.
The carpet – donated by adorers of the Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them), who live outside of Iraq – will be lifted on the 11th day of Ashura, and then be given away to people.
