Imam Hussein Shrine has determined the date of replacing the red banner of Imam Hussein Shrine with a black banner, which is on Thursday the 21st of September 2017.
Afdhel Esh-Shami, deputy Secretary-General of Imam Hussein Shrine, stated that the time of replacing the banner will be after the Evening prayer, where a great number of Muslims from different Iraqi cities and countries attend Imam Hussein Shrine to witness this remarkable event.
In this year, Imam Hussein Shrine is going to install large displays outside the shrine in order for the attendants to see the event inside the shrine.
