The holy city of Kerbela is witnessing many preparations being made by the mourning processions that will commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, his family, and his companions (Peace Be Upon Them) during the upcoming month of Muharram.
A great number of people are preparing the streets and lanes in the downtown of Kerbela, in addition to installing tents and canopies for the mourning processions where they service pilgrims with food and water.
