Raising black banner of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) on Lebanes-Israeli border

 

Within the activities of the Cultural Week – Imam Hussein is holding in Tyre City, Lebanon, which borders Israel – is raising the banner of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).

 

Moslim Abbas Ghedhban, head of preparatory committee, said that Qana town had the honor of raising the black banner of Imam Hussein, which indicates the month of Muharram during which the tragedy of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) had taken place.

 

Mohammed Ettya, Qana’s municipality director, who attended the event, in addition to a great number of people, said that Qana town had witnessed massacres committed by the Israeli invasion in 2000 and 2006.

 

Attya expressed his thankfulness and gratitude to Imam Hussein Shrine for honoring them with raising the black banner of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
