Within the operation Mosul freedom, Ali El-Ekber brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces stated that they evacuated 200 war-torn families from Tel Ebta, North Mosul – Iraq.
Those families – Arab and Turkmen majority, and Christian minority – had been under the control of IS, were received with alacrity, treated with respect, and offered everything they needed by the paramilitaries, according to the directives of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority. The brigade also restored the families' properties after they had been appropriated by IS. Until the present time, the brigade has liberated 27 quarters and discovered tunnels made and used by IS.
