Pilgrims from all over the world at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine on Arafat Day

Prior to and on the day of Arafat (a Hajj ritual), the holy city of Kerbala witnessed a large number of pilgrims, from all over the world, who came to offer their salutation to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) on such a godly-blessing day.

Officials in the security field found out, through the checkpoints, that pilgrims flocked to Kerbala the last week, where hotels and mosques could not receive more pilgrims.

Narrations by Shia and Sunnie Muslims say that offering salutation to Imam Hussein (Peace be Upon Him) on the day of Arafat is significantly important, and some of them said: “Allah rewardingly reviews the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) before Arafat pilgrims, and fulfills their needs; forgives their sins; and makes them close to Him through their issues, then He reviews Arafat pilgrims and does the same”.     Edited by: Wela' Es-Seffar Translated by: Mohammed Alobaidi
