El-Abbas Division, part of the popular mobilization forces, arrested five ISIS militants who attempted to sneak into the holy city of Kerbala through En-Nekheab District on Jan 21, 2016. The ISIS militants attempted to enter Kerbala by taking a detour in the desert around one of the paramilitaries’ posts, but the vigilant paramilitaries immediately responded and arrested them. The militants have been handed over to the authorities in Kerbala City, and paramilitary forces have been intensified in En-Nekheab District accordingly.
