The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i met with Sayyed Abdul-Rehman, President of the Islamic Sciences University of Indonesia and member of Indonesian Parliament.
His Eminence discussed the initiatives and establishments of the Holy Quran Department in South Asia and Africa.
Adding to that, El-Kerbala'i indicated the need for cooperation in the fields of religious sciences between the Holy Shrine and the Islamic University.
On the other hand, Abdul-Rehman commended the efforts of the Holy Quran Department for the establishment of its branch in the Indonesian Capital Jakarta.
Also significant to note, that the Holy Quran Department is underway of establishing more branches in numerous South Asian and African countries.
