The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i discussed the process of establishing the Imam Hussein International Airport with Officials from the Iraqi Ministry of Transportation.
Benkain Rikani, Technical Secretary of the Ministry indicated that the motive behind their visit to Sheikh El-Kerbala'i was to discuss the necessary requirements to begin implementing the Airport.
Rikani further stated that the Holy Shrine will act as the executing corporation under the supervision of the Ministry.
