Along with his delegates, the Minister of Defense Khaled AL-Obaidy has visited the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and viewed the security preparations of the military forces for the pilgrimage of Ashura. Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'I had invited the Minister of Defense to examine and analyze the reasons which lead to the terrorist occupation of several of the cities in Iraq. Calling for taking critical measurements during the upcoming period and arming the soldiers with sufficient military supplies and efficient enough to face all the challenges and risks. The Minister thanked the Secretary General for his notes, and stated that this visit had allowed him the opportunity to view the security plans and resolve some of the issues Kerbala was suffering from, while assuring that they will providing all their resources to ensure the success of the Ashura visit.
