Despite all the security circumstances of Iraq, pilgrims from around the world challenged the enemies of Ahlul-Bait by heading to the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him). Interviews were conducted with pilgrims from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait. They all state that the way to Kerbala is very safe and everything is under control of the military forces. The pilgrim from Saudi Arabia states that the road to Kerbala sustained a variety of services provided which ensures the comfort of all pilgrims. Nonetheless, a pilgrim from Bahrain further states that they have always heard about bombings, kidnappings, and threats occurring in Iraq. However, when they crossed the broader, they realized that is was only false media trying to frighten the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him). Hence, all the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) consider their pilgrimage as an act of defense and challenge to the will of terrorism. By: Yaser El-Shimari Translated By: Ahmed Ali
