Second part of the Friday sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the supreme religious authority and the preacher of Friday sermon in Kerbala city his Eminence Sayed Ahmed EL-Safy, gave some recommendations to the pilgrims coming on foot to the master of the martyrs Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) such as 1. The ritual of coming to the master of martyrs Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) on foot is an educational ritual, so we call pilgrims for meditating on the aim that each pilgrim comes for, and feeling the events of EL-Taf battle and what educational concepts and lessons it has. 2. The way to Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) is full of services and there is an implicit call to acquire the manners of Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h). Each pilgrim has to eradicate the arrogance and vanity in himself, because walking on foot to Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) symbolizes a great opportunity for the human to learn and take a great knowledge from the source of the endless knowledge Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h). Physical fatigue is so easily forgotten; but the pleasure of elatedness of knowing Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) will never ever fade. 3. We recommend the pilgrims not to crowd together around cars and make room for children and women when they have done the pilgrimage and are going back home. Also, we recommend them to be obligated to the zealousness, chastity and decency. Our faithful sisters should basically be responsible for walking the distance to Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) with calmness, dignity, holding on to their legitimate scarf, and avoiding attaching with men as much as possible. 4. We also recommend the holders of the Husseinian processions to necessarily comply with the rules, be characterized with patience and work together on conducting the processions regularly. 5. Maintaining prayer and performing it at the exact time in order to show the world that the way of Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) was initially constituted by worshipping, and to reflect the extent of how the pilgrims and supporters of Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) are truly committed. In the second part of the sermon, his Eminence mentioned the repetitive security failure and what they might leave many casualties behind of innocents and defenseless ones saying, "It's hard for us to hear a group of innocents are martyred in different cities of Iraq every so often. Now, we say to the security guards that the security issue is a scientific and vocational issue; especially you are facing great challenges, and every time we make the same mistake. The official must be aware of everything in their job and the tasks they are assigned to. A big and dangerous problem for the security status in which it threatens innocent people's lives is the phenomenon or policy of (integration) in the security forces, in which it's summarized that many people left Iraq fleeing as a result of the oppressive policies and avoiding getting killed or persecuted if anyone would oppose the dictatorial x-regime, so they became a confronting block against the x-regime. When that elite of people who stood up as revolutionists came back home; there is no doubt that they should be treated fairly, compensated for what they had suffered previously, and their old striving days should be honored, but we refuse granting military ranks to some people who know nothing about the basics of security. If we want to honor someone for his distinctive bestowal or his well life history; it can't be processed by granting them military ranks or appointing them as security in-charges leading an important official office in the government, consequently, they will be held responsible for people's lives. It's not the way of forming security organizations!! security side needs to have its elements well educated by going through some scientific courses. Concerned entities responsible should avoid integration policy in the security forces. We call the security organizations for scientific and vocational upbringing with respect of the specialization and according to the principle of the right person in the right position. Also, you can honor people but not at the expense of the scientific and vocational side. Innocents' blood can never be shed. By: Mohammed Jassim
