The Holy Quran House at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the imminent release of the digital Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) Quranic Encyclopedia application for smartphones. The initiative aims to enhance research and educational tools while facilitating seamless access to the encyclopedia’s scientific content for researchers, academics, and students of religious studies.
Speaking to the Official Website, the Head of the Quranic Media Center, Mr. Wisam Nadhir Al-Delfi, stated, "The project has reached its second phase to finalize the launch of the digital Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) Quranic Encyclopedia. This comes as part of the Holy Quran House's ongoing efforts to address the need for faster research processes and information retrieval, as well as supporting Quranic studies connected to the heritage of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)."
He emphasized that "the application has been designed to be accessible across smartphone operating systems (Android and iOS), enabling researchers and interested users to easily access and benefit from the encyclopedia's content."
He further explained that "the app is distinguished by its integration of modern artificial intelligence technologies, along with its support for multiple linguistic dictionaries—including Arabic, French, and English, among other languages. This will contribute to expanding the encyclopedia's reach and serving researchers and academics both within Iraq and internationally."
This step falls within the broader efforts of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through the Holy Quran House, to develop Quranic and research programs, keep pace with digital transformation, and enhance access to educational resources related to the heritage of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) for researchers and enthusiasts worldwide.
