The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine participated on Wednesday in the activities of the Baghdad International Book Fair through a pavilion featuring a diverse collection of its intellectual, cultural, and scientific releases and products, as part of its continuous presence in local and international cultural forums and exhibitions.
The Head of the Exhibitions Division, Mr. Ali Mamitha, stated in an interview with the Official Website that "the participation of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in the Baghdad International Book Fair comes within the framework of its keenness to enhance its cultural and intellectual presence, and to introduce its scientific and knowledge products to readers, researchers, and intellectuals."
He added that "the pavilion includes a wide range of publications addressing religious, intellectual, cultural, historical, and heritage fields, alongside research, studies, and specialized books issued by the departments and institutions of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine."
He explained that "the participation involves displaying recent and varied publications, allowing visitors the opportunity to explore the scientific and knowledge output offered by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, and to learn about its projects in the cultural and intellectual spheres."
He pointed out that "the Baghdad International Book Fair represents an important venue for direct communication with the public and those interested in cultural affairs, in addition to being an opportunity to connect with participating cultural institutions and publishing houses to exchange expertise."
The participation of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in the fair aligns with its orientation aimed at spreading knowledge, promoting a culture of reading, and introducing the heritage and thought of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), as well as making its publications available to a broad segment of readers, researchers, and intellectuals.
