The Quran House Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has concluded the second edition of the National Buds Project for Developing Quranic Talents, in the presence of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai.
Head of the Department, Sheikh Khair Al-Din Al-Hadi, told the Official Website that "the Quran House Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has wrapped up the second edition of the National Buds Project for Developing Quranic Talents, attended by the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai."
He explained that "the project aims to nurture and cultivate Quranic talents among young buds from various Iraqi governorates," noting that "the participants underwent specialized courses that lasted for more than 20 days."
He added that "the participants received their Quranic knowledge and instruction under a select group of professors from various Quranic schools across Iraq and Egypt," pointing out that "the project enjoyed direct support and sponsorship from the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority."
He further detailed that "during their meeting with the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, the participants listened to several insightful directives that emphasized the importance of engagement and organizing these Quranic circles continuously, so that these young talents become fertile ground for representing Iraq in national and international Quranic forums."
He noted that "the guidance also stressed the importance of these talents participating in international Quranic competitions and striving to deliver their best, thereby contributing to preparing Quranic role models capable of honorably representing the national Iraqi Quranic scene."
He indicated that "this is the second edition of the project following the success of the first," highlighting that "the project will be renewed and held annually, according to the directives of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, to welcome new batches of young buds and develop their Quranic talents and abilities."
