The Imam Hussain Institute for Autism Care, Speech Disorders, and Academic Rehabilitation, affiliated with the Sibtain Academy of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the graduation of 34 children as part of its 13th batch, following their completion of the necessary rehabilitation and preparation stages to transition from the therapeutic environment to the school setting.
Zainab Abbood Jabr, Director of the Institute, told the Official Website that "the Imam Hussain Institute for Autism Care, Speech Disorders, and Academic Rehabilitation, affiliated with the Sibtain Academy of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, celebrated the graduation of 34 children within the 13th batch, after they completed the required rehabilitation and preparation phases to move from a clinical setting into the school system."
She explained that "the institute continues to deliver its rehabilitation programs for children under the full sponsorship of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine," noting that "these programs aim to cultivate their abilities and prepare them to integrate into the educational environment, adhering to educational and rehabilitative methods tailored to their individual needs."
She added that "the program encompasses rehabilitating children across academic, behavioral, and social aspects, thereby contributing to providing them with the requisite readiness to acquire essential skills and achieve a smooth transition into public schools and integration into the academic environment."
Furthermore, she pointed out that "the graduation of this batch represents the fruit of the efforts exerted by the educational and rehabilitative staff at the institute, alongside the support and care provided by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine for this group, with the goal of empowering the children and developing their various capacities and skills."
She affirmed that "this achievement reflects the dedication of the institutions affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to caring for children with autism spectrum disorder, and to providing the appropriate atmosphere for nurturing their potential and strengthening their opportunities for active integration into society."
