Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Concludes Arbaeen Mourning Assemblies in Lebanon

The International Quranic Reporting Center at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through the cadres of its branch in Lebanon, has concluded its mourning assemblies commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), which were held across several villages and towns in Southern Lebanon.

Sayyid Ali Abu Al-Hassan, head of the center’s branch in Lebanon, stated: "The organization of these assemblies falls within the preaching activities undertaken by the branch during religious occasions, particularly the anniversary of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). This event represents an opportunity to introduce the community to the dimensions of this visitation, consolidate the correct concepts associated with it, and commemorate the Hussaini rituals."

The assemblies featured mourning sessions and traditional latmiya recitations, alongside educational segments addressing the importance of visiting Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and the spiritual and educational values it carries. Additionally, the sessions highlighted the journey of the captives and the routes they traversed from one region to another following the Battle of Taff, clarifying the events and significance associated with that journey.

These gatherings are part of the Lebanon branch's ongoing efforts to commemorate religious occasions and foster Quranic and intellectual awareness within the community, contributing to the remembrance of the values and principles embodied by the movement of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
