Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Renews 25% Medical Discount for Teachers

Imam Zain Al-Abidin Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the renewal of its joint cooperation agreement with the Teachers' Syndicate, providing a (25%) discount on all medical and treatment services for syndicate members and their first-degree family members.

In a statement obtained by the official website, the hospital said, "Imam Zain Al-Abidin Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has renewed its joint cooperation agreement with the Teachers' Syndicate, which provides a (25%) financial discount on all medical and treatment services offered to syndicate members and their first-degree family members, following the expiration of the previous agreement last year."

The hospital explained that "the agreement is an initiative supported by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine under the direct guidance and patronage of the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, with the aim of supporting educational and teaching staff."

It added that "the agreement includes a comprehensive package of services, covering surgical procedures, a wide range of medical consultations, and supporting healthcare services provided by the hospital."

The statement also noted that "the hospital has established a coordination mechanism that enables syndicate members to obtain a dedicated medical card, which extends not only to the teacher but also to first-degree family members, ensuring they receive the best possible healthcare."

It is worth noting that Imam Zain Al-Abidin Hospital continues to sign and renew similar cooperation agreements with various syndicates and service institutions as part of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's vision of providing high-quality medical services at subsidized prices to ease the financial burden on citizens and professional groups across Iraqi society.
