The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji, emphasized that the principles of honesty and integrity form the foundation upon which the Shrine manages its projects and engages with various institutions and entities. His remarks came during the inauguration of the Al-Sibtain Engineering Construction Company for Specialized Testing, in the presence of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei.
Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji stated that "the principles of honesty and integrity are the foundation upon which the General Secretariat manages its projects and interacts with various institutions and entities," stressing "the importance of adopting precise scientific standards in laboratory testing to ensure the quality and sustainability of development projects."
He explained that "the company is one of the pioneering projects established by the General Secretariat with the aim of achieving the highest levels of accuracy in testing construction materials and ensuring their compliance with approved specifications and standards."
He added that "construction laboratory testing is no less important than medical testing, as any error or lack of accuracy in results may lead to an inability to properly diagnose technical problems, which would negatively affect the quality and lifespan of projects and could result in losses and additional costs that hinder development efforts."
He continued that "the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine relies on Al-Sibtain Company to conduct various tests related to construction materials, soil, and foundations," noting that "the company is required to maintain the highest levels of reliability, professionalism, and adherence to technical standards, given the direct impact this has on the success of projects and the achievement of their developmental objectives."
He pointed out that "any negligence or favoritism in testing results may negatively affect the efficiency and quality of projects," explaining that "commitment to accuracy and scientific integrity contributes to preserving the lifespan of projects, reducing financial waste, and supporting sustainable development efforts."
He called on "the staff of Al-Sibtain Company to continue exerting efforts and utilizing all available capabilities and equipment to enhance the level of specialized testing," noting that "the company possesses capabilities and resources that contribute to supporting construction projects and achieving the highest standards of quality."
It is worth noting that Al-Sibtain Engineering Construction Company for Specialized Testing, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, is responsible for conducting laboratory tests related to construction materials, soil, and foundations, contributing to the enhancement of project quality and ensuring compliance with approved technical standards.
