The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji, stated that these values are being demonstrated today through responding to the call of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and adhering to the directives of the supreme religious authority. His remarks came during a speech marking the honoring of the relief mission affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine following its return from Iran.
The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine said that “the efforts and sacrifices being made reflect a spirit of faith and loyalty, despite the scale of risks and challenges surrounding the field, in the presence of an enemy that watches every detail, big and small.”
He explained that “these heroic stances deserve all expressions of thanks, appreciation, and gratitude for everyone who contributed to these honorable efforts, given the sincerity and dedication shown in carrying out their duty. The achievements realized were made possible by these significant sacrifices.”
He added that “these values are embodied today through answering the call of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), and through commitment and loyalty to the guidance of the supreme religious authority.”
This mission reflects the Shrine’s commitment to maintaining a humanitarian presence in arenas of sacrifice and service, drawing inspiration from the values and principles of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), which call for loyalty, sincerity, and sacrifice in support of the oppressed.
