The Strategic Projects Department of the General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues work on the Care and Community Rehabilitation Housing Complex project in Karbala Governorate, as part of a series of service projects implemented by the holy shrine to support the community and provide an integrated environment for beneficiaries.
The head of the Strategic Projects Department, engineer Mohammed Diaa Mohammed, said in a statement to the official website that “the Strategic Projects Department of the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues the implementation of the Care and Community Rehabilitation Housing Complex project in Karbala Governorate.”
He explained that “work on the project is progressing at an increasing pace, and our teams have succeeded in achieving advanced completion rates.”
He added that “the project is being built on land measuring (7248) square meters, with a total built-up area of (17,500) square meters. It consists of six floors and includes a prayer hall, bedrooms, computer laboratories, a central restaurant, educational halls, various workshops, sports fields, and recreational areas, making it a comprehensive model for care and community rehabilitation.”
He stressed that “the project is one of the important service initiatives and has been designed according to the latest approved specifications for facilities that accommodate individuals lacking care.”
The project aims to provide a safe and fully equipped environment for beneficiaries, reflecting the ongoing efforts of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in supporting service-oriented and community initiatives.
