Salamtak Medical Center, affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced the results of its medical and healthcare services provided to citizens during the first quarter of 2026, as part of the shrine’s ongoing efforts to support the healthcare sector and provide integrated care for all citizens across different groups.
The director of the center, Dr. Mohammed Hamza, said in a statement to the official website that “Salamtak Medical Center, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, succeeded in providing comprehensive services totaling (4900) paid services, in addition to offering (650) completely free services to beneficiaries. The total number of patients received by the center and benefiting from these medical and nursing services reached (1240) patients.”
He explained that “the medical and nursing staff intensified their field visits to provide direct care in patients’ homes, with official statistics recording (2450) integrated nursing visits, in addition to carrying out (260) home medical visits by specialist doctors, as well as providing (1170) home physical therapy treatment services for patients whose health conditions require this type of advanced rehabilitation.”
He added that “the center’s efforts were not limited to home and internal care only, but also included an advanced ambulance transport system that succeeded during the mentioned period in transporting (475) emergency cases within the province, and (50) external ambulance transfer cases between provinces, in addition to launching (7) large-scale free humanitarian and medical initiatives targeting low-income families and patients with limited income.”
