The Imam Al-Hadi Center for Muscular and Neurological Disorders, affiliated with the Health Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Physical Therapy Association aimed at building a more integrated treatment model for the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of muscular and neurological diseases.
Director of the center, Dr. Saleh Al-Jabri, said in a statement to the official website that “the Imam Al-Hadi Center for Muscular and Neurological Disorders, affiliated with the Health Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Physical Therapy Association aimed at building a more integrated treatment model for diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating muscular and neurological diseases, in a specialized step forward in healthcare services.”
He explained that “the initiative aims to strengthen integration between precise neurological diagnosis and physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs, ensuring the adoption of a clear treatment pathway based on modern scientific foundations that takes patients’ needs into consideration and contributes to improving treatment outcomes.”
He added that “the cooperation includes training and the exchange of expertise between medical staff, in addition to developing approved treatment protocols, in a direction that enhances the center’s position as an integrated reference center in Iraq in the field of muscular and neurological diseases.”
This agreement comes amid the growing need to develop an integrated system for dealing with muscular and neurological diseases, which are considered among the chronic and complex conditions that require precise diagnosis and long-term treatment and rehabilitation programs.
