As part of preparations for the tenth of Muharram and the Arbaeen pilgrimage, the Department of Hussaini Processions at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine held a preparatory meeting with dignitaries and coordinators of Hussaini processions in Karbala province.
Head of the Department of Hussaini Processions, Mohammed Karim Aziz, said that “the Department of Hussaini Processions at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine held a preparatory meeting with dignitaries and coordinators of Hussaini processions in Karbala province as part of the preparations for the tenth of Muharram and the Arbaeen pilgrimage.”
He explained that “the meeting was held to discuss organizational and service preparations related to commemorating the rituals of the tenth of Muharram and the Arbaeen pilgrimage in a manner that contributes to providing the best services to visitors and mourners arriving in the holy city of Karbala.”
He added that “the meeting emphasized the importance of adhering to the instructions and recommendations issued by the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, while working in a spirit of cooperation and high-level coordination among all participating processions and groups.”
He pointed out that “among the most important points discussed were patience and tolerance while providing services, as well as dealing with visitors and mourners in the best possible manner, reflecting the organizational and service image associated with serving the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).”
The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine places special emphasis on developing the organizational and service work of Hussaini processions through periodic meetings and coordination sessions, contributing to enhancing the level of services provided to visitors and mourners during religious occasions and mass pilgrimage events.
