Coinciding with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), the Imam Hussein Specialized Medical Complex, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the launch of a discount initiative on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. The initiative includes a number of medical services and examinations as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare and serve the community.
In a statement obtained by the (official website), the complex said that “the Imam Hussein Specialized Medical Complex, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announces the launch of a discount initiative on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, covering several medical services and examinations,” noting that “the initiative coincides with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).”
The statement explained that “the initiative includes discounts on examinations and services provided by the ophthalmology clinic, general surgery, ear, nose, and throat clinic, and the internal medicine clinic, in addition to the eyewear department.”
This initiative comes as part of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s commitment to commemorating religious occasions, particularly the births and martyrdom anniversaries of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), through service and humanitarian initiatives that reflect its approach of linking faith-based values with community service. It also underscores the continued efforts of its healthcare institutions to provide the best medical services to citizens and contribute to strengthening healthcare services for various segments of society.
